I dedicate this website to the memory of my dear mother Doris Harmon, seen here in one of her high school pictures. I expect to see her again.
To my sweet wife Gloria who is a great source of joy to me every day.

Historic Searsport, ME -- A Sea Captain's Town
Fort Point Lighthouse
This is the closest lighthouse to Searsport and was once the lighthouse for the Searsport area because it is in Stockton Springs which was once part of Prospect as was Searsport before part of Prospect and part of Belfast was taken to make the new town of Searsport in 1845.
Homeport means two things to us these days. First, it speaks of the town where we live, probably the last place that I will ever live on this earth. Searsport is a lovely small village with a great history and we are very contented in our new cape that we feel the Lord has provided for us here. (Click on the Searsport link and you will learn all about our earthly homeport)
Secondly, the reference to homeport speaks to us of Heaven and is where we plan to spend eternity. One of the main purposes of this website is to testify that it is possible to know where you are going when you die. We hope that as people get acquainted with it that they will develope an awareness of that great Biblical truth and a desire to join us in our wonderful "home beyond the sky". (Click on the Heaven link and you will learn all about our heavenly homeport)
